1 Dollar    (sold for $1700.0)

1879. PCGS graded Proof 62 Cameo. A brilliant white untoned example. That said, now we cover the strike: this coin, like many Proofs of this period, was struck with scientific precision on the main devices, the dies being nicely frosted in the recesses which left nice cameo contrast on the devices on the finished coin. Only 1,100 Proofs minted (PCGS # 87314) . Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,700. Categories: Dollars
