1 Cent    (sold for $875.0)

1794 S-22 R1 F15. Five points sharper except for a half dozen small rim nicks at the bottom of the obverse and a fine scratch across the throat. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and this piece offers very nice eye appeal for the grade. M-LDS with a shallow "mound" between the upper leaves of the wreath. The date and legends are complete and clear except for some weakness at ST in STATES due to minor die swelling in that area. Estimated Value $600-UP. Lawrie Rhoads collection.
