1 Cent    (sold for $3100.0)

1955. Doubled die obverse. PCGS graded MS-63 Red & Brown. A very pleasing example for this popular 20th century variety. Mostly vibrant red with delicate brown surfaces intermingled; no dark undertones, certainly no spots. Best of all, the fields and devices are exceedingly choice for the modest 63 designation, choiceness that merits special notice (PCGS # 2826) . Estimated Value $2,800 - 3,000.
