1/2 Dollar    (sold for $5500.0)

1911. PCGS graded Proof 66+ Cameo. Lovely light rainbow toning around the edge. Because so few Proof examples of this issue were produced, we doubt that many can equal or surpass this for overall quality and eye appeal. The mintage of this issue is the one of the lower mintages of the series. This Proof 66 Cameo half dollar sparkles with originality, a prime example of the date to be certified. This is an outstanding Cameo Proof with brilliant surfaces and frosted devices that accompany the lovely toning. Only 543 struck. Pop 2; 5 finer, 4 in 67, 1 in 68. (PCGS # 86558) Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500 Categories: Barber Half Dollars
