Collectors, when first coming across a Carson City Mint dollar often gasp at the experience since these are routinely gorgeous lookiing when Mint fresh. The stamping press at this mint could strike an average of 112,000 silver dollars per month, according to the Randy Goe book on Carson City Mint.
