1797 S-137 R2 VG10. Five points sharper but there are a couple corrosion pits on the reverse, one at the first T in STATES and another in the leaves right of T in CENT. These pits contain traces of greenish verdigris but the remainder of the planchet is reasonably smooth. A collection of faint hairline scratches on the portrait are the only notable contact marks. MDS with obvious swelling at RICA. The date is bold and the legends are clear. Estimated Value $100-UP. Categories: Draped Bust Cents
