1 Cent    (sold for $230.0)

1818 N-10 R1 AU55. Lustrous steel brown and chocolate. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas. No spots or stains, and the only mark is a fine horizontal scratch above star 3. There is little if any actual wear on this cent but the strike is quite weak. The top of the head is flat and none of the stars show any of their radial lines. LDS. The weight is normal, 170.2 grains versus the standard of 168.0 grains. Perhaps one of the last struck from these dies. Estimated Value $150-UP. Categories: Liberty Cents
