AD 332, struck under Constantine I to commemorate the moving of the Roman capitol from Rome to Constantinople. CONSTAN-TINOPOLIS, laureated helmet, wearing imperial cloaked bust of Constantinopolis left, reversed spear in left hand over shoulder / Victory standing left, right foot on prow, transverse scepter in right hand, left resting on grounded shield; pellet in crescent PLG in exergue.
