Charles II, Silver Halfcrown, 1670, third laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform shields, interlinked C’s in angles, garter star at centre, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, VICESIMO SECVNDO (ESC 467; S 3365). A little soft of strike, wear to obverse high point by ear and tiny contact mark at neck, otherwise attractive light tone, pleasing very fine, the reverse better. £600-800
