1 Cent    (sold for $260.0)

1796 NC-4 R5+ Draped Bust Basal State-1. The details are considerably sharper, especially on the reverse, but this cent is covered with moderate corrosion and it has been cleaned. No marks or verdigris. The date is nearly gone but the reverse legends are complete and easily readable. Reddish steel brown mixed with chocolate and darker olive brown. A rare but scudzy cent.
