印第安人头像一美分硬币，又称印第安便士，由美国铸币局于 1859 年至 1909 年在费城铸币局铸造，并于 1908 年和 1909 年在旧金山铸币局铸造。该硬币由费城铸币局雕刻师詹姆斯·巴顿·朗埃克设计。
硬币正面印有“美利坚合众国”字样，自由女神头戴印第安人羽毛头饰，并标有铸造年份。头饰带上印有“自由”字样，这是所有美国硬币的必备标志。1859 年至 1864 年，设计中没有设计师的任何标记。1864 年，当硬币换成青铜色（见下文）时，首席雕刻师朗埃克修改了肖像，锐化了细节。他还在自由女神颈后的缎带上加上了自己的首字母“L”。这种设计一直延续到该系列硬币的结束，1886 年查尔斯·E·巴伯对其进行了小幅修改。
