Type one with handmade crenellations. Security edge. An exceptional example of the last traditionally manufactured Oban produced by Japan. The type one Manen Obans feature obverse surfaces with handmade crenellations. A remarkable example with totally original and well preserved inking. The ink is bold and clear, with only the most minimal loss at the higher points. Oban is housed in a fitted velvet lined bamboo case, accompanied by a certification by the JNDA (Japan Numismatic Dealer’s Association) attesting to the originality of the inking. Exceptional and RARE in this state of preservation.
