1913-S. Type 2. PCGS graded MS-66. Rich golden toning and well struck. A frosty golden toned gem with strong underlying luster whose rich dappled toned highlights bring forth the underlying surface originality on both sides. Nicely struck for the date, perhaps more so than usual, and certainly a coin that gets honorable mention where fullness of design is requisite for a Registry level grade. Struck with systematic exactness throughout, in our estimation. Pop 30; 4 finer, 1 in 66+, 3 in 67 (PCGS # 3923) Estimated Value $3,700 - 3,900 The Gerald Forsythe Duplicate Buffalo Nickel Collection. Categories: Buffalo Nickels
