1848 N-17 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Repunched 4. Glossy olive and steel brown with 5% of the mint red showing on the obverse, 20% on the reverse. Excellent luster and eye appeal. The only notable defect is a tiny, faint diagonal hairline scratch on the neck. E-MDS, die state b. The repunching on the 4 is clear. Our grade is MS62+, CC#5 in the Grellman census.
