1847 N-34 R5+ VF25. Attractive glossy light chocolate brown. Smooth surfaces that are void of any trace of corrosion or verdigris. There are some tiny contact marks scattered over the obverse, including a pinprick under the left point of star 7 that can help identify this cent. Otherwise this piece is choice, especially for a tough variety that usually comes with obvious defects. M-LDS, die state c. Tied for CC#11 in the Grellman census. Estimated Value $200-UP. Ex Ron Houseknecht collection. Categories: Large Cents
