1961. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. Lovely intense light blue toning on both sides. One of the key issues among Full Bell Lines half dollars. Both the strike and satiny luster on this impressive 20th Century coin are simply outstanding, and the freedom from the usual scattered field abrasions confirms the Superb rating. Desirable with this meticulous strike on Franklin and the Liberty Bell's horizontal lines (almost always weak on dates from the 1960s, particular those struck in Philadelphia). Plate coin in the Franklin/Kennedy Book. Pop 6; none finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 86680) . Estimated Value $12,000 - 15,000. Ex Napier Collection. Categories: Franklin Half Dollars
