1794 C-3a R5 G6. Small Edge Letters. Slightly sharper with too many small contact marks for the sharpness grade. The only significant contact marks are a dull nick on the wreath ribbon left of the denominator and another near the rim over ER in AMERICA. There is no corrosion or verdigris. Mostly glossy chocolate brown. The date is strong and the legends are complete and easily readable, although RICA is weak due to an uneven strike on the reverse. A decent lower-grade example of this tough die variety. Estimated Value $400-UP. From the Dennis Fuoss Collection. Categories: Liberty Cap Half Cents
