1788 Vermont with Bust Right Ryder-24 Rarity-3 VF20. Very attractive glossy light chocolate brown blending to darker chocolate brown in protected areas. Looks smooth and choice to the unaided eye, but a glass reveals extremely fine granularity in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris, marks, or planchet flaws. A superior example of this variety in terms of color and surface as most come with significant roughness. The date is clear and the legends are strong. Listed on page 72 in the "Redbook." Weight 110.7 grains. Estimated Value $200-UP. Categories: Colonials
