1803 S-258 R1 Small Date, Large Fraction F15. Five points sharper but there is a small dig in the field before the eye, too big to be called a pin prick but not by much. The only other notable marks are a similar dig under the 8 in the date and a couple light horizontal nicks in the field under the hair ribbon. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown with bluish steel overtones on the reverse. M-LDS, Breen state III, with a die crack from the rim through the 1 in the date arcing through the lower curls to the rim left of the hair ribbon. Estimated Value $150-UP. Ex Rod Burress 8/12/2013.
