1923-D. PCGS graded MS-66. Lustrous and well preserved, with a mixture of light toning variations including purple and deep red, and above average striking definition. This Denver Mint issue, from the third year of the Peace dollar series, is quite scarce at the MS-66 grade level. Only 88 coins, from an original mintage of more than 6.8 million pieces, have achieved this lofty level at PCGS, with only four examples graded higher. Pop 88; 4 finer, 3 in 66+, 1 in 67.
