1846 N-1 R1 Repunched 18 AU50. Frosty steel brown and light chocolate with lighter steel brown and tan in protected areas. The only notable marks are a spot of shallow carbon on the throat and a dull nick on the left side of the L in LIBERTY. Sharply struck MDS, die state c, with a series of fine die cracks on both sides. The repunching on the 18 remains sharp. The fields on both sides are hard and slightly reflective thanks to a fresh die lapping. Estimated Value $200-UP. Categories: Liberty Cents
