1835 N-2 R3 Head of 1834 VF30+. Glossy medium brown and light reddish chocolate with steel brown toning on the highpoints. Traces of frosty luster remain visible in protected areas on both sides. There is a small arc of very fine granularity between star 4 and the dentils, a spot of crud between star 13 and the dentils, and a couple spots of fine verdigris at STA. Overall the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice. MDS. The repunching on the U in UNITED is visible. A fine double profile (from die bounce) shows on the lips, chin, and neck.
