1851 N-10 R1 MS60. Lustrous steel brown and light chocolate with faded mint red in protected areas, mostly on the reverse. Nice eye appeal, but a glass reveals a small spot of reddish corrosion hidden in the hair at the top of the ear. Otherwise the only marks are a light diagonal nick midway between star 1 and the chin and a tiny rim nick over the first T in STATES. LDS, die state b. Both dies are worn and flowlined. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS64BN (NGC label #1577561-004 included). Estimated Value $250-UP. Ex Doug Durasoff. Categories: Liberty Cents
