1889-O. PCGS graded MS-65. Conditionally scarce at the Gem level, especially so with such strong luster and strike as is this coin. The reverse is brilliant while the obverse shows just a dash of cinnamon color at the top, but not enough to call this piece anything but a white coin. Minimal handling marks virtually require magnification to see, and Liberty's cheek and the nearby fields are fresh and undiminished by time or bag handling. Currently PCGS has awarded a mere 188 pieces the Gem grade, with only 18 finer. Pop 188; 18 finer, 8 in 65+, 10 in 66. (PCGS # 7192) . Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000. Categories: Morgan Dollars
