KM-103; Cal-type-146#774; Gil-M-8-1; FC-1. Small crown, two mouldings atop pillars. Sharp struck with overall good details. Light to moderate surface porosity from exposure to salt water. An attractive and original coin that was not overly cleaned in the conservation process. The light to moderate porosity is evenly distributed only affecting surface metal with no major areas of deep corrosion readily visible. Attractive grey and brown tones with some minor encrustation still adhering in small areas. A RARE and desirable piece that is remarkably well preserved considering is spent more than two hundred years at the bottom of the ocean in Florida.
