Lettering: ELIZABETH II D · G · REGINA Engraver: Dora de Pédery-Hunt Dora de Pédery-Hunt, CM OOnt was a Hungarian-Canadian sculptor who designed medals and coins. She was the first Canadian citizen to design an effigy for Queen Elizabeth II. Reverse A caribou is accompanied with the facial value and surrounded with the inscription "CANADA". On the reverse, rim denticles were replaced by beads from 1993 on. Lettering: CANADA 1993 25 Cents H Engraver: Emanuel Otto Hahn Emanuel Otto Hahn (30 May 1881 – 14 February 1957) was a German-born Canadian sculptor and coin designer. He taught and later married Elizabeth Wyn Wood. He co-founded and was the first president of the Sculptors' Society of Canada.
