Attica, Athens, c. 350-300 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.27 g), likely from Egypt or the Near East. Head right of Athena wearing crested helmet ornamented with three olive leaves and palmette decoration. Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing, sprig of olive and crescent behind; to right, ethnic; all within incuse square. Cf. Sv. pl. 27, 7; cf. Dewing 1625. NGC graded MS; Strike 4/5; Surface 4/5.
