1849 N-4 R1 MS62. Frosty light steel brown with traces of faded mint red on the obverse, 15% of the red remaining on the reverse. The only mark, and it is very faint, is a fine hairline from the earlobe down to the middle curl on the neck. E-MDS, die state b, with a fine die crack from the leaf tip under ES through OF to the dentils and a faint crack through the top of MER. The reverse die lines are clear.
