1849 N-28 R3. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with underlying frosty mint luster in the fields and protected areas. Tiny peeps of faded mint color can be found on both sides. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a pinprick on the left end of the crossbar of the 4 and a nick-like planchet void in the field off the bottom of the hair bun (as struck). M-LDS, die state b late. Most of the die lines behind ONE CENT are gone and a shallow low spot covers most of the neck (caused by debris on the die). Our grade is AU50. The attribution is shown on the PCGS label (PCGS # 405703) . Estimated Value $500-UP. Ex Chris McCawley 9/1996-Evan L.
