† Coins of India. Princely States. Kishangarh, Silver Broad-flan Nazarana Rupee, in the names of Queen Victoria and Madan Singh, AH 1900 Year 60, 10.62g (KM -). Very fine and very rare. This issue was presumably made to celebrate, somewhat belatedly, Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. The present coin appears to have been struck over an earlier coin with parts of the earlier inscription are visible. Part of the David Fore Collection of British Indian Coins. £400-600
