BRITISH COINS, Edward IV (first reign, 1461-1470), Silver Groat, London mint, light coinage (1464-1470), sub-class Vd, facing crowned bust in tressure with fleurs on cusps, quatrefoil of pellets either side of neck, initial mark rose both sides, rev long cross patteé, inscriptions in twin concentric circles, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, additional pellet in one inner quarter, 3.04g (N 1568; S 2000). Weak in same part of the legend both sides, otherwise good very fine with a pleasing portrait. from the late David Sellwood collection £100-150
