Head of Demeter Chthonia left, wearing grain wreath, pendant earring and necklace of pearls. Rev. EP Monogram above ΔI; all within wreath formed of two grain stalks. Grandjean II, 8, D16/R25 (this coin cited); Weber 4238 (same dies). Extremely rare. Darkly toned. Good very fine. From the BCD collection and ex LHS 96 (2006), 1302 and from the collection of E.S.G. Robinson, donated to the Ashmolean and disposed of as a duplicate.
