Very fine Raziyya was overthrown in a rebellion and replaced by Bahram, who was another son of Iltutmish. Bahram, however, was a mere puppet in the hands of the Turkish nobility, who had the real power. The sultan, tiring of his lack of power, committed various unwise acts, which caused the nobles to depose and execute him.
