1762-A French Colonies Billon Sou Marque Vlack-46a Rarity-7 PCGS graded AU53. Paris Mint. Frosty silvery gray with lighter silver toning covering the protected areas on both sides. No marks or other defects, only a touch of friction on the highpoints. The date, mintmark, and legends are all well struck, and the dot under the D in LUD (signifies this piece was struck during the second "semester" of the year) is visible. A nice example of the rare second semester version. Listed on pages 52-53 in the "Redbook." Estimated Value $300-UP Categories: Colonial Coins
