25 Cent / 1/4 Dollar    (sold for $1300.0)

1885 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. A hint of blue and lilac toning. Only 930 minted. This lovely Proof is dancing with full, pleasing mirror-deep fields while frosty luster graces the devices. But we are hard pressed to find even a single carbon fleck or abrasion. Having that in mind for the mint originality, we see as well a full, bold transfer from Proof die to planchet notable in the two shields, Liberty's hair and gown, and on the eagle's plumage. Pop 10; 25 finer (PCGS # 85586) . Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,100. Categories:
