1796 S-89 R3 Liberty Cap AG3. A couple points sharper, especially on the obverse, but there are small, relatively fresh digs on the 9 and 6 in the date that distort those digits a bit. Otherwise the date is clear. No roughness or verdigris and the only other defects are some light contact marks at the R in LIBERTY. The legends are readable although some of the letters are weak. Glossy dark chocolate brown and steel. Estimated Value $80-UP. Categories: Large Cents
