1 Cent    (sold for $975.0)

1794 S-63 R2 F15. Sharpness VF25 but there are numerous small rim bruises or rim nicks on both sides, mostly over UNITED STA. None of these marks is significant but there are too many for the sharpness grade. In addition there is a scuff of fine hairline scratches passing across the obverse from NNW to SSE. Otherwise the planchet is smooth and the toning is an attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. MDS, Breen state II. The date and legends are complete and strong. Estimated Value $500-UP.
