1 Cent    (sold for $1350.0)

1794 S-65 R1 F15. Five points sharper but there are a couple light rim bruises on both sides, the strongest one above the O in OF, plus a few tiny nicks on the neck. Otherwise this cent is quite nice for the grade offering smooth surfaces covered with attractive glossy light chocolate brown toning. MDS, Breen state VI. A die crack now weakens the second A in AMERICA but the remainder of the legend is strong and the date is bold. Estimated Value $750-UP. Ex McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Goldbergs 9/2008:315.
