1 Cent    (sold for $1300.0)

1807/6 S-272 R4+ Overdate Small 7 over 6 AG3. Several points sharper but lightly corroded on all but the highpoints, which are smooth. Dark scale covers the fields and protected areas on both sides, but the devices are clear. The date and legends are complete and easily readable in spite of the roughness and scale. Far from perfect but still an acceptable example of this rare "Redbook" variety. Estimated Value $800-UP. Categories: Draped Bust Cents
