1938-D. PCGS graded MS-67 CAC Approved. Well struck and a superb blast white gem. Low mintage issue and one that people have talked about since the day it was issued. There is even a dusty old photograph in the archives somewhere that shows the entire 1938-D half dollar mintage stacked up in bags on a wheeled palette, ready to be moved! (Q. David Bowers discovered it and featured it in one of his many books on American numismatics.) In an OGH. Pop 25; 2 in 67+ (PCGS # 6605) . Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000. Categories: Half Dollars
