KM-334. Copper. Struck as an attempt by the federal government to end the unregulated minting of state and municipal copper issues. Their strategy was to mint coppers that were of higher quality, but were ultimately unsuccessful with this series. Liberty seated right. A remarkably well manufactured piece with wide rims and a thick 14.33 gms planchet. A few light surface marks. Chocolate brown patina.
