1826 C-1 R1. ANACS graded AU-53. Frosty steel brown and light chocolate with lustrous lighter steel brown faded down from mint color in protected areas on both sides. Great eye appeal and just a touch of friction on the highest points. The only marks are some tiny ticks scattered over the obverse, none notable, and a small puff of darker toning between STATES and OF. LDS, Manley state 5.0. The myriad die lines right of the date are weak and the ones seen earlier at the top of the head are gone. Our grade is EF45. Estimated Value $150-UP. From the Dennis Fuoss Collection.
