1795 C-6a R2 Plain Edge without Pole. PCGS graded Fine-15. Struck over a cut-down 1794 Talbot Allum & Lee Cent with New York. Slightly glossy olive with steel brown highpoints. Nicely struck with balanced details throughout. The date and legends are complete and strong. No marks or verdigris, but the surfaces are covered with extremely faint roughness visible under strong magnification. Evidence of the TAL Cent undertype can be found on both sides, and "NEW" is clearly visible at the top of ATE in STATES. EDS, Manley state 1.0. Our grade is F15 net F12 for the microscopic roughness.
