1928 $2.50 Indian. NGC graded MS-64. A hint of golden tone. Most notable about the present example, aside from the nice luster, is its strike; unlike many examples, which are so unevenly struck as to be like a "pancake," this coin offers above-average central striking definition, both at the often-weak bonnet ribbon over the Indian's brow and on the eagle's breast feathers. The only peripheral softness is on a few feather ends due to the way the side with the eagle lines up with this part of the obverse design (PCGS # 7952) . Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,150. Categories:
