Over an 1824 Peru Royalist crown countermark on an insurgent 1822-LIMAEJP 8 Reales. Scarce host coin with royalist countermark. F.7.0 countermark unevenly struck over the royalist countermark, but nicely centered. Moderate wear with the reverse significantly flattened from the application of two countermarks, minor planchet defect on obverse. Cleaned long ago and now starting to retone.
