Attica, Athens, 130/129 BC. AR "New Style" Tetradrachm (16.54 g). Head right of Athena, wearing triple-crested helmet, decorated with palmette and griffin. Reverse: Owl standing right on overturned amphora; in right field, gorgon head; all within olive wreath. SNG Cop 196; cf. Thompson 953d; Dewing 1650. Choice Very Fine.
