German States - Trier. Goldgulden, ND (1388-1418). Fr-3417; Noss-247a. 3.46 grams. 22.33 mm. Coblenz mint. Werner von Falkenstein, 1388-1418. Obv: St. John standing with scepter in left hand, right hand pointing up and a cross between legs breaking inner circle at top and bottom. Reverse: Five coats of arms within quadifoil within inner circle. Superb strike with original mint luster. Very rare this nice. NGC graded MS-64.
