Jewish Coinage. The Bar Kokhba War, 132-135 CE. Medium Bronze (20 mm) attributed to year 3 (134-135 CE). Upright palm branch within laurel wreath. Reverse: Kithara with three strings. Mild 31; AJC 297; H-1436. Choice Very Fine. The kithara type attributed to year 3 is almost always struck on small, ill-shaped flans which show only partial obverse legends or no letters at all.
