Reference: SNG Kayhan -, Rosen -, Klein -, SNG Keckman -; also for Phokaia: SNG Cop -, BMC Ionia -,  
 Nymph? head left.
Griffin head left within frame.

 Numismatic Note* The griffin was a symbol of both Phokaia in Ionia, and Abdera in Thrace. Moreover Abdera employed the linear frame on some reverses, however this coin was most likely found in Asia Minor.
