ANNAM. Silver Award of Merit, ND.

79.42 x 44.94 gms; 18.17 gms. Rectangular flan with top hanger tab. Hand engraved inscription identifying it as an award of merit and surrounded by a square spiral border; Reverse: Three hand stippled characters giving the weight in silver. Very reminiscent of other provincial awards made of stamped silver in the late Qing Dynasty.
